Come Home to your Self Meditation

This is a beautiful meditation for when you need to come home to yourself, your heart, your body…

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Start by closing your eyes, sitting comfortably, taking deep breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth, slowing down, quietening. Put your hand to your heart and feel it beating.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As you breathe in, imagine your heart space filling to it’s maximum capacity with warm, golden light. And as you exhale out, imagine yourself sitting in your heart space - in that warm, safe cavern, and anchoring more deeply with every exhale. Continue with at least five rounds like this.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Deep breath in through nose, heart filling with golden light, deep breath out through mouth, anchoring more deeply into your heart space with every exhale.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then sit for a moment feeling the sensation of this golden light and life force energy rippling from your heart out, throughout and beyond your body.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You may also want to observe where in your body you may be feeling discomfort, and breathe into those places, offering yourself what you need in that moment.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Ground afterwards by placing your feel firmly on the ground and feel the Earth supporting you.

Welcome home.
