To the ego,

to flow is to traverse the unknown.

The ego is always trying to protect us from danger - in this case, fear of the unknown (deep, dark, potentially very dangerous) - by using what it has experienced thus far in this human life as it’s measuring stick. Thank you ego. Sorry ego.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But the unknown is pure potential. The exact zero point of creation. And flow is the surrender that will take you there as we experienced in our Piscean New Moon Community Gathering meditation Monday night.

We were asked to surrender to the flow of our Sacred waters in cyclical rhythm with the Moon and the Earth - a journey ultimately leading us to the Cosmic womb of creation, both within and without, where everything and anything is possible, and everything and nothing exists.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Terrifying for the ego who likes to play it real safe! Sabotagingly safe.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So how do you entice your ego to surrender to this natural state of flow once more? How do you create a space for your ego to expand and evolve beyond what is familiar? How do you invite the ego to explore new realms? How do you show your ego a new way?

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

By creating a safe space for yourself through compassion and love, in honour of your human experience, in the understanding that every moment of it has yielded great wisdom that you can now access at any moment. That in this you can trust yourself to to set clear boundaries, honour your needs and courageously express yourself in all that your are. Your ego needs a friend who can guide it and show it a new way. Can you be that friend?
