As a society, we’ve been trained right out of our feeling body and into our thinking mind - which we’ve been conditioned to think (not know), needs to see first in order to believe.
Can you let your mind evolve out of fear and it’s limitations, and into its fullest expression of genius through your body? Can you feel your way to your wisdom?
We’ve also been trained to think that anything other than feeling joy, happiness and “good” feelings is to be avoided at all costs. This has led to imbalance & oppression. Without allowing ourselves to feel everything including sadness, grief, anger - not only have we banished them to the shadow where they’re claustrophobically causing havoc, but we’ve also robbed ourselves of feeling to our fullest, leading to sensations of numbness and disconnection but also behaviours of avoidance and addiction.
So do yourself a huge favour and just sit with yourself, all of yourself, and feel. Put a hand against your heart, feel it beating - it’s there I promise you - connect with it, and allow your heart to guide you through your body to what you need to feel.
Cry your tears of sadness. Let the grief swallow you. Let the rage transform you. Let the joy enliven you. Let the happiness comfort you.
You will not die - this is ultimately what why we’re afraid to fully feel - but your ego constructs will, the illusions will, the mistruths will - you will live on truly liberated. And isn’t this what we’re all desperately seeking anyway? You hold the key to your own prison, you always have. You also hold the key to your full liberation. And it sits right here in your heart, in your feeling, in your body.
